Barry Hyde, Chairman/CEO

Barry Hyde is the Chairman/CEO and majority owner of Hydco, Inc. He started the company in 1987 and has over 35 years of construction experience; including residential, commercial and industrial construction.  Hyde grew up in Cleveland , Ohio and he attended Arkansas State University .

He served in the United States Air Force as a member of the Titan Missile Launch Crew from 1974 until 1977. He is a past honorary Commander at the Little Rock Air Force Base, member of the Camp Robinson/Camp Pike Community Council and is also a private pilot who enjoys flying his C-414.

He is active in various community organizations. Among his contributions are: past chairman, Central Arkansas Heart Association; twice chairman of the building division of the Associated General Contractors of America, Arkansas division; past chairman of the board, North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. He is a 12-year member of the Apprenticeship Training Board for Arkansas AGC,  a board member of the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of North Little Rock and a member of the Little Rock Club 99 Rotary.

Hyde was first elected to the Arkansas House of Representatives, district 40, in 2006 and currently serves in the 88th General Assembly.

He was awarded for employee support by Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense organization.

Hyde is a lifetime member of the Catholic Church. He and his wife Jeanne have a son, Jeremy, two daughters, Jaime and Carrie and five grandchildren.



Roger Marlin, President
Roger Marlin, a Bentonville, Arkansas native, joined Hydco, Inc. as Vice President, Marketing/Sales in 1999 after a successful career in banking that spanned 21 years.

Marlin manages the daily activities of the company. He is responsible for corporate finances, sales and marketing/implementation, the annual general and administrative budget and employee benefits.

He oversees the completion of turnkey projects for clients that include services such as site selection, design, furnishings, equipment, telephone systems, merchandising hardware and signage. 

He received an associate’s degree in business from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith . He later graduated in Bank Marketing and Management at the University of Colorado in Boulder .

Marlin is a past chairman of the North Little Rock Airport Commission and a Board Member of the North Little Rock Rotary Club. Marlin is a past President of the State Bank Marketing Association, Bank Marketer of the Year 1999, President of the Board and an active big brother in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, past Board Member of Lakewood Property Owners Association and a Board Member for the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce.

He and his wife Ginny have three children and attend Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock . Mr. Marlin is an active private pilot with over 700 hours of flight experience.


Jeremy Hyde, Vice President

Jeremy D. Hyde has been a part of the Hydco team since 1994.  During this time, he has served in numerous roles, including laborer, carpenter, superintendent, and project manager, and estimator.  He started his tenure as a part-time employee and in 2000 began working full-time. In 2002, he was named project manager and estimator.

Mr. Hyde’s specific areas of responsibilities include the day to day operations of the company. He specializes in completing turnkey projects for facilities and design /build projects.


Mansfield Juvenile Treatment Facility, Saline County Detention Center , Trane warehouse, Community Bank of Cabot and Peoples Bank are a sample of projects completed under Mr. Hyde’s management.

He is currently 30-hour OSHA certified, CPR and Adult First Aid certified, and is a card carrying Grade I-ACI concrete field testing technician.

Mr. Hyde attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Construction Management program. He is active in his community, serving as a member of organizations such as North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and American Society of Professional Estimators.

Kristy Hull, Contract Administrator

Kristy Hull has worked with Hydco, Inc. since 2005 in the role of Contract Administrator.  Specific areas of responsibility include assisting Estimators and Project Managers in various daily duties, solicit bids on negotiated and hard bid projects, set-up new jobs in Construction Project Manager, prepare monthly applications for payment, compile and assemble project closeout manuals, prepare presentation booklets, maintain company vehicle maintenance logs, maintain company tool rentals, regulate all warranty items, maintain job directories, maintain records on plan logs, prepare and review all contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders on all projects and  provide assistance to President and Marketing Director as needed.

Mrs. Hull attended the University of Central Arkansas and received a Bachelor of Business degree in Business Administration in 2004.  After completing her degree, she joined Hydco, Inc.’s team.
